Anti vaxxers always lack understanding of basic chemistry. They simply don’t know that combining elements and compounds radically changes their properties into completely different substances. And all these big chemical names sound really scary to them. The table salt example is good, but may be too complex for someone who doesn’t know even the simplest chemistry concepts. I always say to them, “when you combine chemicals, it creates an entirely new chemical (aka compound) that’s completely different than each of its ingredients. Like how you probably wouldn’t want to eat a raw egg, but you know raw eggs are combined with other ingredients in cake. And cake is perfectly edible and delicious.” And is they want to just continue with their lunacy and hysteria then I walk away.

I just think that although it’s tempting to make fun of them, the world would be a much better place if they gained the education necessary to at least make informed decisions instead of doubling down on their bs because of the hostility they get. I would much rather not have my kids in school with unvaccinated kids.

We are nowhere near that, so.. ..NOT a pandemic, but do us all a favour and get the untested unsafe vaccine - have at it!
