I had my neighbor, an actual mechanic do this to me. Had problems with my truck, wouldn't star. I asked him: Hey Red, Saturday would you find out whats wrong with my truck? I'll pay $30 and a six pack to find out whats wrong. "Dude, its shot, gonna cost you a new motor, way more than the truck is worth." Bought the truck from me for $300, sold it 4 days later running perfect for $3500. So, ya, it happens. I did get revenge, won't say how, but he ended up leaving the state over it. shoot

"Later on that day he went to go to the shop or something, when he started the car it threw up oil warning lights on the dash and wouldn’t boost so he turned it off and had a look of concern on his face. I went out to ask him what’s up and he said that something gone majorly wrong. He says something along the lines of catastrophic turbo failure or engine failure.

He’s already spent quite a bit on repairs and didn’t want to spend any more money on it so spoke to my mum about just cutting his losses and scrapping it."
