#28 Don't just save the stuff on a email account. Back it up on a USB drive or the like as well. The free emails can sometimes delete everything if the account is not accesses ever so often. More so if it has tens of thousands of unread messages that are years old.

Ivy, Good information. I have had the same email address for 22 years. Then one day a few weeks ago, gone. Everything that I had stored, all of the pictures, GONE! I tried to go into it one morning and a notice came up that someone had tried to hack my email. Haven't been able to gain access since. I had Dell try, I had McAfee try, and they couldn't get it to work. They said that it was just gone and to get another email address. It was almost like losing a family member. A 22 year old family member.
