Okay decent post. But I'm learning a Slavic language at the mo and the difference between vocabulary and grammar is as wide as a bloody big valley. So you have declination - Latin has 4, some Slavic languages have 7. This affects the nouns, pronouns (the one I'm learning has 47 different pronouns) and adjectives. Then of course conjugation, so verbs and adverbs. Basically every part of a sentence. I looked through the list and can say all of those words in the new language but putting them together (grammar) is just another game. I don't want to put anyone off learning though - seriously try because there's other rewards including logic and ways of thinking (weird but true). I speak another language (I was fluent when I used it) and my view is, when you can tell someone clearly what your dream was last night - then you can speak a language. Pain in the butt but worth it when you can!
