#23 When my son was a toddler, he couldn't say 'blanket', he'd say 'munket'.
To this day, that's what our family calls a blanket.

My dad kept cigarette packs in the refrigerator because he said it kept them fresher. Also, I worked with college age girl who had never tried pimento cheese because her mother told her their family was not "pimento cheese type people".

#26 same with my parantes, even though my dad was a teacher. After elementary school he said "you have to know why you have to learn" and never asked for grades, never whent to "parent conference days", never came to school festivals. I didn't invite them to my PhD celebration
