Corey, I think it probably has to do with lowering the amount bandwidth. A ton of gifs loading simultaneously for a large user base can really tax the server. You don’t see this type of segmentation on the image pages. Before (on the old server) the gifdump page would take like three minutes to load so I’m all for the additional three clicks if that's what is helping speed things up.
I agree with Theophilus and Alfreda but, the real point is, why on earth are you complaining about free entertainment? "I feel a bit used and I will probably come here less." Seriously??
#26 Hope they didn't kill it. There are places in SoCal now that 90% of the Rattlesnakes don't Rattle, but 70 years or so ago it was 90% that did rattle. So rattlesnake bites are up because there is no warning they are there.

Exactly. I never used to click on gif dumps because on my computer it would take forever to load and they would be very laggy.
