#45 This is ridiculous. Kids are essentially at zero risk from the Wuhan virus. In fact, more kids died from seasonal flu last year than the Wuhan virus this year. We didn't close schools in 2019 - why are we closing them now? Oh yeah, it's an election year...

Obed,

It's about spreading the virus. A class with 30 kids means up to 60 parents in risk. When even the adults are too stupid to keep distance, how should this work at school?

Obed, I live in a small county in the UK where in just over 2 weeks of schools been open we have 2 schools with confirmed cases and the main collage has confirmed cases. I wished are our kids would of been allowed to home school via zoom or what ever

Obed,
What to expect from someone calling Covid 19 the "Wuhan virus". You know it is election year as you make your propaganda. You are certainly spreading the virus as much as your fake arguments.

Carol et al,
The goal of lockdowns was to prevent overloading hospitals - not to 'stop' the virus entirely. It's a virus, it's going to spread - that's what viruses do.

The goal is to protect those at risk from dying. 80% of Wuhan virus deaths are people 65 and older. People age 25 and lower account for 0.2% of deaths - they are not at risk. When young people have the virus, their viral load is very low - meaning they do not spread it easily. If the goal is to prevent cases - we will be locked down forever. Cases DO NOT equal death.

Abner,

It’s astounding watching the level of derptardation here.

Tanafra answered the question first with wit and sarcasm. Plenty for the Andy Kaufman (known for provoking confused and negative reactions hmmm) to discern an answer from. In comes Shirl with an uneccesary passive aggressive You’re welcome explanation point. So sarcasm and wit gets down votes from the tone def brain dead hipster zombies while self righteous lefty millennial passive aggressive condescension is upvoted. A microcosm for the sick confirmation bias society we allowed to take shape. Do you listen to respond? Then you are a part of the problem. There is more but let’s leave it at that for now.

I feel sorry for the kid on zoom. She looks tall enough to be at least in 5th grade and her study area is much too small and ridiculous.

Pres,

He has two different shoes on so not to damage his Jordan's with a crease when he goes down on one knee. And yes it was an earring in a key ring. But all is well she likely said yes for him to be a baby daddy.
