Wikipedia is a good place to get a foundational knowledge in addition you can often find free and more reliable sources of information for your project if you look at the source section in the bottom of the article. Free and fast research project usually already properly cited too.

Christian, Which one are you talking about? The ignorance of comparing a pandemic to a plague, the ignorance of comparing corona virus to THE bubonic plague or the ignorance of not knowing how to spell "Bubonic"? I wasn't around for the crusades, but I can spell it correctly!
