#11 Either I'm old or someone's really stupid to not know that that's a wall-mounted ashtray.

Governor, Yeah, I'm 73yo so I knew immediately what it was. But, smoking inside buildings hasn't been allowed for quite a few years, so kids today wouldn't have any idea. Just like something that I saw on TV, kids were given a rotary phone and told that it was a phone and gave them 10 minutes to make a call. None of them could figure it out. To us, it seems simple, but EVERYTHING is simple if you know how to use it.

“Are my parents’ neighbors engaging in psychological warfare? This is attached to a dolly pointed toward their yard and sounds a very loud alarm twice a day for 10 minutes.”

A: "Looks to be a vibrating horn. The datasheet states an output of 103dB. These types of horns are usually used in an individual setting where ambient noise is high. This is how this horn sounds."
