That kind of a mouse wasn’t used by anyone except for the people that conceptualized the mouse. When the GUI matured a mouse became necessary but the first mass produced one looked a lot like what we have today except it had a ball on the bottom side and it was wired. In before “thanks boomer.”

"In the 60's of the 19th century" made me laugh on the vacuum one. Really that hard just to say 1860's?

The ones on the top/left still work while the ones on the bottom/right are mostly broken.
Smartwatch
Many people think that the Apple Watch was the first smartwatch. But the attempts at making this kind of device were made way earlier. The first smartwatch was a Timex Datalink — the product of a collaboration between Microsoft and Timex.
