There was a plan proposed in 1986 to raise the Titanic from the ocean by filling it with 180,000 tons of Vaseline.
Another proposal involved freezing the remains with liquid nitrogen, essentially making them a giant iceberg that would float to the surface.

When they first released the video of the Titanic at the bottom of the ocean I saw a pair of boots side by side just laying there perfectly spaced. I thought it was odd. Then it occurred to me that there was probably a body wearing those boots years ago before the sea life consumed the body.
