#1. For people who weren't around then, Jimmy Carter made a big deal to lecture Fidel Castro for "human rights" policies, and said Cubans should be able to come to the USA if they wanted to. Freedom!

So Castro opened ALL his prisons, and sent Cuba's worst to Florida. Murderers, drug dealers, rapists. Thousand upon thousands of them. Dumped his problems on us.

You wanted them, Jimmy, you got them.

Carter still lectures us to this day, forgetting how badly his own policies were, and what they continue to cost us.

This has been largely written out of liberal history. But it happened.

Fie,
He was and still is the most compassionate President in my lifetime. His charitable work is beyond what any other President has done.

Gregory, I am a conservative. While I agree with Carter's shortcomings...one of which was highlighted by Fie, I also recognize his great humanity. What a mensch !

Gregory, Jimmy Carter is despised by the people of Venezuela because of his friendly support of its repressive and criminal narco-socialist dictatorship and for falsely lying about the fairness of the fraudulent elections they ran, which helped consolidate the dictatorship's power. The Carter Foundation received millions from the Venezuelan regime' via proxy front men & companies. Also, Carter is widely acknowledged as one of the worst presidents the US. Not much a great humanitarian for millions of my compatriots. The more you know....

Roy, What? Can't Carter be racist and also despise Jews?

Fie,
Carter also signed the Community Reinvestment Act, essentially forcing banks to lend money to unqualified borrowers in ghetto neighborhoods. When the market eventually crashed due to unsecured debt in 2008, destroying the wealth of thousands, the media blamed it all on John McCain.

Orlando,

Not to mention the Iran Hostage Crisis lasted over 400 days with that pathetic weakling at the helm. They were released an hour before Reagen was sworn in as president. Yay, liberalism! (sarcasm)

Fie,
Carter is a huge racist, he despises Jews. And he was a horrific president, one of the worst ever.

But his work on Habitat for Humanity was laudable.

Fie,

In Europe we did the same. We took the unemployed, the unwanted, the criminals, put them in shops and send them to America. For hundreds of years. You took them and made something out of them. That was the time when you were great.

Doda, Along with everything else that has been said in here about his presidency, I remember getting a promotion and having to move from Denver to Chicago. But, I couldn't sell my house in Denver because interest rates for home loans under Carter were 16%. Yes, for those of you too young to remember, I aid SIXTEEN PERCENT!!!

It's amazing how much damage one liberal can do in 4 years. And, now, they want to foist Joe upon us. Heavens forbid!!! He would be even worse than Carter.......if that's even possible!
