"Practicing the skill of putting yourselves into the shoes of the other side of an argument. The world would be a lot better place if more people attempted to empathize."

"Regular strength training; regularly eating enough protein; and a bit of aerobic exercise, as well. For improving muscle tone, shape, and usability."

"Finding a hobby you love. Or doing that thing you’ve always told yourself you’ll do. Even if you suck at it."

"If someone dies and you are getting rid of their stuff go through it very thoroughly. One, a lot of random cr#p is valuable, my grandmoms VCR sold on eBay for $100, an alarm clock for $40, and a quilt she used so an old mirror in the attic didn’t break fetched us $750 at auction. Those were all items I pulled from the dumpster as my aunt was tossing them before I convinced her to stop.

Two, old people hide money in crazy places. I was helping clear out an abandoned house for a flipper. We found money in books, records, shoes, jackets, we ended up splitting nearly 13,000 between the 4 of us. Unfortunately, this was after the 2nd dumpster was hauled away."

"Finding a group to play DnD that doesn’t take it too seriously is a great option, it is a fun hobby, and having other people involved makes you a bit more accountable."

"Shower beer. I always thought it sounded tragic, but holy [email protected]#t it is divine. It’s especially great after a long day of hot, sweaty work."

"Vacuuming, drinking milkshakes, siphoning, fellatio, eating popsicles or lollipops…"

"Find a credit card with excellent rewards and start utilizing it.

Having a credit card (when used correctly and responsibly) can drastically improve your quality of life. I travel all the time and like half my trips are paid for simply by paying my bill on time every month."

"Simply hiking, nothing serious just long walks in nature. It’s especially great if you have a goal, but it’s relaxing without it as well."

"Watching cartoons. Seriously, it’s a really good time, and a lot of modern ones deal with some kinda heavy topics like death or abandonment. It’s also just a lot of fun to sit back and watch a cartoon."

"Blackout curtains."

"If you ever have to break up with a woman (and I believe it also applies to women breaking up with men.. or anyone breaking up with anyone else).

Make sure to be completely honest about what you feel… don’t try to make it over-soft or easy (of course be kind, but honest)… there will be tears (don’t let them change your mind if you already made a choice), there will be maybe yelling, resentment or whatever, you will feel maybe guilty (and that is normal)… but at the end of the day she/he is strong enough to deal with the truth.. and if she/he is not strong enough then lying or making it soft will be a hell worst (believe me, I have seen it, I have done it.. it’s a hell)."

"Everyone should have 3-5 dishes they can make no problem. They don’t have to be special.

Mine are spaghetti, mac and cheese and salmon & veggies."

"Reading more books and articles. This is necessary to gain a wide perspective on things. It also differentiates you from the dumb people. You can feel the tangible change on your speeches when you read.

Listening to podcasts. Be it informative or just for fun. It saves lots of time on your end. Especially if you are working etc."

"Stretching for 5-10 minutes in the morning, particularly if you have started being a home office worker now."

EccyFD1

"Probably gonna get flak for this but this is more for the younger kids but enjoy your youth while you have it. I went from a highschooler right to working 55hrs a week right out of high school and because of that I missed out on a lot of the last hoorah adventures. Many will say gotta get out there and get to work right away but you have your whole life to work.

Enjoy your friends for one last summer before you go your own way to school or to work. That last summer after school is magical it’s the final taste of childhood and I missed most of it."

"Actually following through when you and your friends send that monthly “We should hangout soon!” text. It does wonders for your Mental Health. Not just being around people, but that psychological factor of starting something and finishing it. Obviously distance and all that good stuff."

ALongPooooop

"Getting out of debt as soon as you can. Throw all your extra money at all. It’ll save you so much money in the long run and you will feel so free."

TrinkulusPosh

"Teach yourself not to care what other people think about you. By extension, the people around you will pick up on the behavior."
