I'm European (Flemish/Belgian). Only the onion ring with the egg, the cutting of the tomatoes and the cleaning of the grinder looks interesting. Most of (not all) hacks have to do with food that is too greasy or sugared to our taste I think.
Making pizza bagels? Put pepperoni over the bagel hole to a) stop cheese from melting though and sticking to the pan, and b) seriously upgrade the yumminess.
