You miss the (in fact American breed) Australian shepherd. As smart as the border collie, as workaholic, but even more attached to their humans. Family of the border collie.

such a lie, pitbulls and German shepherds are highly unpredictable and aggressive dogs. over 60% of dog attacks in the US are pitbulls

All in training and age when you get the dog. Things i see point to pits & rottie for attacks. Typical to what I would point as the macho guard dog for gang or drug. Id bet most of the attacks are chomps following "oh look doggy!!" b/c the dog is closed in on and feels threatened

From 2005 to 2019, family dogs inflicted 54% of all fatal attacks. 65% were perpetrated by pit bulls. Of the 346 fatal pit bull attacks during the period, over half, 53%, involved killing a family or household member.
