#12 is a man thing. It's weird. My husband does this as well. Along with coming into the kitchen and dropping whatever he's brought home right in the middle of my working area...like TA DA!!!
Also, if he cooks (once in a blue moon) I have to tell him 700 times during the meal how delicious it is. I have cooked every meal for 30 years with little more than a "thank you" from him, but if he does it we all have to act like he discovered a new planet.
