Look, I'm a Star Wars fan from kindergarten on up, but I find this to be rather idiotic. Those paintings weren't nearly so bad that they had to be sacrificed to such pop culture nonsense. Eventually, they'll end back up at thrift stores (or dumpsters) a lot less more desirable than the child-mind fanboys who get to geek out a little at how 'cool' this is right now. Call it what you like, but turning original art, any art, into such a gimmick is not 'creating' anything new. You're simply vandalizing it.

Arrowhead Vintage & Goods specializes in everything from vinyl and home decor to clothing and jewelry, so these paintings shouldn’t come as a complete surprise to people who visit the shop in Canton, Ohio. If they could enter it.

“I have always done art for fun, just novelty weirdo stuff but when covid hit, I had to close my vintage store,” said Dave. “My wife and I started doing our website full time trying to keep afloat. She made masks and I started painting. Both really kept us busy and we were really glad to have the work.”
