#10. I call BS on this one. The inside of a piano is mostly metal. No way could a tree simply swim through it this way for 50 to 80 years, while the piano just sits there.

Paul, You should take a look inside a piano sometime.The sound board is the only solid metal piece that might stop a tree, but on an upright it would be in back. This tree splurted up through wood.

I still think it had help. I'd expect the piano would be pushed upward somewhat with the edges lower than the middle, and not expecting such smooth edges along the trunk.
