Gawd I'm in my late 30's, and I don't have these issues, oh wait, that's because I take care of myself... If you're in your 30's and you sound like rice crispys, then get your @$$ to the gym.
Beda, exactly what all the supremely confident and annoyingly smug have to say. Wait until you get there, and discover the surprises in store for you. For now, wallow in your ignorance.
So... If something is broken then just work it harder??? My arthritis will go away if i just work out 1-2 hours a day? It's not just going to grind down my joints even faster?
Two kinds of people come here. Those that have a sympathetic laugh and momentarily feel part of a greater family of people who can smile at life's ups and downs....and then there are those that come here thinking they're some kind of cusp of human evolution and mental focus that not only makes them totally awesome, but they go into great detail telling you, here in the comments, why that is so and how you're not as awesome as them...and that's how THEY, momentarily, feed the grand delusion of themselves that they've constructed on social media where they're playing air guitar while jumping a skateboard over lava and saying "ok, boomer" because they have that little dopamine hit of getting the chance to be morally, intellectually and psychically superior to 99% of the world's population...while staring into their own cell phone and browsing memes just like everyone else.
Health is a combination of self-care, genetics and luck. Even if you eat right and take good care of yourself, you could be maimed tomorrow by a car crash or suddenly get cancer. Instead be thankful for the things that still do work and don't yet hurt.
I guess that I'm the boomer around here. In 6 weeks I'll be 74. That looks funny to even write! I've got plenty of ailments, but I still get around VERY WELL. I live alone and I take care of myself and my 3br house and I do all of my own driving. No need to whine. I feel blessed because I see a lot of people my age that look like they're on their last leg!
