Many of these were quite nice houses, despite the tacky decor. But what the heck is up with those weird backsplashes?

I'd take any of those over paying 2000 Euro rent for a tiny 2 bedroom flat in Dublin

They still have local access to some of the best dairy in the world. I don't feel too badly for them.
