It has to be a warm place. The only problem is, all the warm places we enjoy are now tourist traps. We are old and remember when they were just lovely places to vacation.

I spent 10 years living in #17 & that does qualify as being pretty far away from people. Also extremely cold and dry. I like #18. Italy offers so many different types of natural beauty and plenty of urban areas and history I could happily enjoy that for years and never get bored.
