Basically anyone who says "thank you for waiting" makes me wonder... did I have a choice, or are you glad you made me wait? Both thoughts are very negative.

Danielle, For being a Senator? NO, it was for being a BLACK Senator. If all things were the same and he was considered to be white, he would have won NOTHING, and deservedly so! I say, "considered to be" since he was half black, half white. Of course, as with all things (at least, that I can think of) the darker color is dominant.
