Russia — Herring under a fur coat
This layered salad is loved by many families in Russia, as well as in Belarus, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan. The dish usually consists of layers of herring, boiled potatoes, carrots, apples, and onions, topped with beetroots and mayonnaise, which give it this purple color.

KFC is a VERY popular Christmas food in Japan.
Oliebollen in The Netherlands are basically just for the new year event and served with powdered sugar. Not icing.
Speculaas is just as popular in The Netherlands and mainly meant for December 5th, Sinterklaas. Basically our Santa Claus. (And partly what Santa Claus was created from)
And lastly, really, Canada? Brussels sprouts as a snack? I thought you were cool...

Yeah, in Czech Republic, no one eats Kuba at Xmas.. We eat carp soup, fried carp, schnitzel, and potato salad... Get the facts straight....
