#17 A friend and I did the pay phone thing back in the 80’s.

Most of the time, the operator knew the number was a pay phone. After ~5 tries, we would get an operator who didn’t know or check that it was a pay phone.

If there's one thing I wouldn't feel guilty about it would be finding a loophole with a casino. Take em' for all you can. That's their motto, after all.

#8 Burger King did the same thing for a couple years. You'd take a survey online, write the number on the receipt and get a receipt with the free whopper, then do it again the next day.

"Parking meters took credit cards. But they weren’t actually connected to a live network at all times. The machine just confirmed the card number was valid and was not expired, then spit out a valid pass. So when my card number got stolen and replaced, I kept my old, canceled card.

Of course when the system tried to run the card later it would be declined. My car and I were long gone by then. Sadly they wised up and now it charges your card before giving you a pass."
