I worked in a photo lab that did the daily rushes (prints of individual frames) from Nightmare Before Christmas, and saw a lot of what was cut. Believe me when I tell you, it was meant to be even creepier!
Home Alone
I love this movie through and through, but for a young kid there are some scenes that must be unsettling. The demonic, basement furnace is burnt into my memory.
