I worked in a photo lab that did the daily rushes (prints of individual frames) from Nightmare Before Christmas, and saw a lot of what was cut. Believe me when I tell you, it was meant to be even creepier!
The relentless attacks on The Wet Bandits is brutal. Paint cans to the face. Scalding hot doorknobs. Blow torches to the head. A tarantula on the face! I could keep going.
