The actual problem is when the media pay attention to angry little Thunberg, and completely ignore the people who are coming up with effective and active solutions like Boyan Slat of Ocean Cleanup who has already been targeting rivers and sources of ocean pollution. Thunberg is good at whining for the camera, Slat is doing something about the problem with almost no publicity. Big difference.
Elly, The four biggest cargo ships produce as much CO2 as all cars on the entire planet. But that should be no problem, since CO2 is a much needed fertilizer. Ever heard the term carbon-based-lifeform? That is us.
Maybe you should inform yourself about spelling or constructing correct sentences before commenting then. Not everyone is obligated to look up relatively obscure things like how horses are traditionally measured. And I doubt you knew it...
And I see you chose the avatar that matches your personality perfectly!
Maureen, Raised on a farm here. Hands high is definitely a measurement for horses. Side note, the saying "Long in the tooth" is a reference to horses as well. Their teeth "look" longer they older they get due to their gums receding. So if someone says, "It's long in the tooth", that means old/older.
#49 is fake. A helmet does not look like that after an accident. This is made on a grinder machine. Seen this picture many times. The message is good though.

The pandemic has done more to reduce carbon emission than anything else in the last year. Turns out all we need to do is not drive and not fly.

Funny, like the solution for everything seems to be more/higher taxes...
A lot of people don't have experience with them don't know how they're measured so don't feel ignorant. The people who down voted you are the morons.

Horses are measured in hands to their shoulder. A hand is four inches.
