The military killed off any desire I had to ever go camping again. I love showering whenever I want to & the comforts of a real bed.

Swene, I'm with you. In '67, I got home from Vietnam and my 3 year enlistment was up and I got discharged from the Marine Corps and I said that I will never sleep on the ground or inside a tent ever again. No hiking or hunting. I didn't want to walk and I had no desire to kill anything. Live and let live. The forest belongs to the animals!
