Another dummy that knows nothing about the subject except what he has been indoctrined to believe. DUH! If you even researched the subject at minimal (I know that's a lot to ask of the indoctrined) you'd know that many pilots have come out and publicly stated they believe the earth is Flat.

I'll give it a shot. Let's make this two dimensional in order to make things easier. Basically we will make the earth a circle and the plane is a point above the circle. I have two pictures in my mind, one is a circle with a straight tangent line drawn above it, the other is two circles.
The question, as I understand it, is why when a plane flies level it makes a picture of two circles instead of a straight line? If the plane is flying level, then shouldn't it go straight like in the first picture? Not really. Level doesn't mean straight.
If the plane is flying level then it is neither increasing or decreasing its altitude. It maintains a fixed radius from the earth at a selected height. Therefore two circles.
What bends the level flight path into a curve? Gravity, i guess, but mostly this is a conflict between the ideas of "straight" and "level." Where level is a curve because the earth is curved.
Ps, there are several dry lakes that are large enough to show the curvature of the earth. I believe Bonneville, where they do racing, is one of them.

Instead of throwing insults about something more than likely you have never even researched which just proves how strongly your indoctrined to believe what your told and if you think otherwise be labeled with the term the CIA created. Conspiracy Theorist. The author of this article is as dumb as they come and reports FAKE NEWS. I'm referring to Mad Mike. If the idiot knew anything about the story instead reporting the faske news headlines they read then they would know that is not what happened. It was a test run and only could go a short distance up no where near being as high as one would need to be to try and attempt to see the theoretical curve that does not exist.
