Number one is absolute bullsh#t. I live in and work in one of the main tourist areas in Norway, especially with mountain hiking, and this is the first time I've ever heard about this thing.

Ginger, I am a Norwegian, and I can confirm it's not a thing. Wear whatever color cap you want. Bright red or orange recommended during hunting season!

I will also confirm that Norwegians will say hi to pretty much anyone they meet while hiking though. Just a quick "hi" is usually it, but more conversation (about the view, hazards ahead, etc) are not uncommon.

Nr 7 is wrong! You find this in Switzerland on Canton Appenzell Innerroden (AI) and Ausseroden (AR) and has to do with feasts with cows Appenzeller Alpenaufzug - Appenzeller Alpenabzug and Appenzeller Viehmarkt. Greatings from Lugano. Sandro

#17 I've heard that an upside down pineapple means you're a swinger too.

Not sure if that's true, but I always have one in my shopping cart when at the grocery store. Some people smile and nod, most DGAF.

I dunno, still waiting for some hot MILF to give me her phone number or at least ask my opinion of her melons.
