Yes, it can be cleaned but...
The patina that has formed actually protects the copper. Probably best to leave it alone- it will eventually turn green again.
Would be extremely expensive to clean- scaffolding, collection of the runoff chemicals.

#46 PUT IT DOWN BEFORE IT KILLS SOMEONE!!! And don't try to tell me it's a sweet little couch potato that wouldn't hurt a fly. My sister had to get 46 stitches IN HER FACE because of a "sweet" dog a fraction of this size, that went off with NO warning. It almost took her upper lip off and she's scarred for life, in more ways than are visible! Keeping a dangerous vicious animal like THIS is criminally irresponsible!!!
