Being late happens to everyone sometime. Just don't get mad at other people for your own problem.

I am a chronic late comer for 25+ years. it is like a sentiment for me for my little success in life

"How can you walk into work late with a Starbucks latte?!?"
"But I wasn't late when I bought it."

In Germany it's like: We agreed to meet at six, so I'm waiting behind the door between two and five minutes, and my guests are waiting in the car between two and five minutes, until it finally is six.
