The museum, which started off, normally a pottery shop, has reached 16,000 hair samples since 1979, when female visitors left a pinch of hair. The beginning of the story is as follows: The owner of the museum, pottery master Galip Körükçü from Avanos, was very impressed by a French woman he met in Cappadocia 35 years ago and an emotional bond was formed between them.
