#18 And there's the reason things taste funny right there. Never use soap on a cast iron pan. If things are stuck just boil it off with water, or heat the pan and rinse it under hot water. Any leftovers will be steamed off. If it is rysty, burn it in really hot fire and saturate it with vegetable oil after it is cooled.
