no, they did not. Glaciers just tend to melt more than being rebuild by the ice following down the hill in regards of lesser volumes of rain/snowfall and higher average temperatures.
So in the long term this will be gone. You are one of those who don´t want to believe something, because the dying glacier has no facebook page.
