Debora, Once past security, you're allowed to bring liquids on board over 3oz. . Most airports in the U.S. now have the filtered water stations where you can refill your water bottles and those are cleaned regularly (most of them have a log stickered to the machine showing when and by whom it was sanitized). Or if you're feeling carefree, you can always purchase a celebrity endorsed designer water at any of the airport for a mere $10.00 a pop! lol

Nap,

I bought a bottle of MtDew past security at Incheon airport in Seoul to drink on the plane. They wouldn’t let me bring it on the plane, even though I bought it past security. It made no sense.

Hugh,

That was probably more due to the fact that a grown adult was intending to drink that sh!te on their flight.

'...Bring their own water...' Trust me, I'm a professional - for almost 6 years. smh...

@izi Do you even look at these before you post them?

Btw: there's a word for 'flight attendant'. It's 'stewardess'.

Theodora,
Until Covid, I've traveled a few times a week for years. I bring my own, or ask for the sparkling. I find this post to be totally accurate. And the times I have let down my guard I have paid dearly.

Sh#t Knowledge. Coffee on airplanes always sucks because they keep heated all the time, burning even more the coffee. The taste is horrible! It is only good to wake you up.rs

Ever look inside a water main, or a hot water heater? Ever drink water from a mountain stream that has (gasp) mud on the bottom?

Matty,
You sound like one of those privileged snoots who's never had to do a hands on job and think those kinds of jobs are easy. They're not. Flight attendants are crazy busy and busting their humps and in any case are not provided the tools and devices needed to break down equipment or wash it, which couldn't be done anyway when the plane is being boarded or while in flight.
