#2 makes no sense. Perms are a lot more expensive than haircuts are. They must have meant that he just stopped cutting his hair.

Elenor, "are" vs "were". Also, you can perm your own hair at home for cheap, but cutting your own hair (and still be presentable) is far from easy.

#4 If Jesus had wanted me to celebrate his birthday, he would have made sure that I knew when it was and how he wanted me to celebrate it. He didn't......so I don't!!! I certainly don't need some self proclaimed god in Rome to tell me what to do!
