I’m so tired is seeing NZ cr#p! They are on an Island which has hardly any traffic from the outside world. Saying they did something better than the rest of the world is irresponsible!

So they just lucked in to doing 14 day mandatory quarantines for all visitors? Accidentally fell into doing aggressive contact tracing for all cases? Screwed up and kept 3.8 million visitors a year from spreading the illness (or far far more per capita than visit the US)? Yeah, they didn't do anything special. It's irresponsible to look at what they have done that has worked. It might hurt someone's feelings after all.

3.8 million visitors lol that’s bi-weekly numbers for Europe and USA. Don’t be dim and compare. It’s tiresome. It’s not accident they had low numbers it’s geographic and economic reasons. Hell, you could have the same if you run the country.

If by bi-weekly you mean every two weeks, you're not far off the mark for the US, but are woefully inaccurate for Europe. As you rightly point out, the US gets about 20% the rate of visitors per capita that New Zealand gets - thanks for pointing out how much less tourism is a factor in the US compared to New Zealand. You'd think they could handle such a small number compared to their population. But they don't seem to be able to for some reason. Now Europe, well, they get about 10 times more visitors than the US. Interestingly, they are doing quite a bit better COVID-wise than the US, though are clearly suffering too.
So we have a small nation with many more visitors per captia than the US doing very well, and a large union with vastly more visitors than the US doing fairly ok (not as good as NZ, but far better than the US).
It's almost as if the actions of the particular nations have an impact on outcomes to the pandemic.

Are you really comparing tourist visits per capita lol.... don’t forget to include traveling with courtiers in Europe. How many people from other countries go in and out of Italy just for work on a daily basis
