#18. "had the n- word in his email on his resume (interviewee was white if it matters)."

Sadly, it does matter, but it shouldn't. Just the usual double standard we're all used to.

Anthony, why would you even want to use that word?

Martin,
I am curious as well. There's three white guys, two Mexicans, an Indian and four black guys and one black girl at my office. The blacks use the N-WORD in every third sentence.

... and at the end of the day job goes to some nephew of the owner/co-owner, who dropped out of school, ruined family business, got fired from the gas station, and stinks like weed refinement plant.

"Me: I’d like to know why you received these awards. Maybe you can pick one of them and tell me the story about how you got it.

Him: …awards?

Me: Yes, these things you’re showing me right now. Tell me about them.

Him: They are awards.

Me: Right. Tell me how you received them.

Him: How?

Me: Yes. What did you do to get them?

Him: …I dunno. It’s your embassy, you tell me.

That last bit was the longest sentence he spoke to me during the entire interview."
