I have a self built Log Cabin in a forest that I own. It is tiny, like 5x5m. It is cold outside with a lot of snow. I have a fireplace there and a lot of books alongside with a recliner and the knowledge that nobody would disturb me. I would call that cozy. Unlike that thing above. Liveable but not worth living in.

Obediah, yeah, it's the age of the hipsters. Do you also milk your almonds for your latte?

Tine,

No. For that I take hippies tears of agonizing pain.

Obediah, sounds nice. A cabin in the woods sounds better than a cold cliff side home. The cliff side home has a beautiful view but it’s just too cold and stark. Never cared for almond milk though - just give a shot of whole milk in my coffee cause I’m a wild man.

Obediah, Your place sounds lovely, but I'm sorry; you are a reverse snob. That is, 'if it's not on the verge of impoverished, it is no good'. This place has the feel of a zen garden. Once it's finished, and the owners' personal touches are added, it will be warm and beyond charming.

It's beautiful, inside and out, but I would roll out of that bed, fall down two flights of stairs and probably drown in the pool.

ugh, this house has no soul, thats whats wrong with most modern architechture, they take le corbusier and others as influence then create dull meaningless soulless buildings no one really wants o live in,its because architechture lives only if there soul and meaning and symbols, its not about utility only and about space, the only good thing about the house is the view

Brad, style is subjective. Others may find this house stunning and full of life.

Completed by “Mold Architects” in 2020, “N Caved” is located on a small secluded rocky cove on Serifos Island, Greece. It was the need to create a protected shelter, at a location of disarming view, but openly exposed to strong north winds, that led the architects to the decision to drill the slope, instead of arranging a set of spaces in line at ground level.
