#12 is misleading because the first pic is facing South to the lake and the built up photo from 2017 is from the lake looking North.
It wouldn't be so dramatic is they took it from the same vantage point.

In Alaska, they taught a bunch of semi-nomadic, hunter-gatherers to build clocks. The proceeds from selling them meant they didn't have to worry about their children starving to death, even in a bad year. There are no noble savages and primitive life s#cks.
