Created by “Aptera Motors”, it will cost $25,900 and will be able to go 0-100 kph in just 3.5 seconds. Its maximum speed will be around 180 kph and its accumulator will have a capacity to go 1600 km, compared to 500 of “Tesla” Model S. Their first 330 models were sold out during the first 24 hours, and “Aptera” already has thousands of pre-orders.
Yeah, obvious omission. They have solar panels on the car that can add 40 miles per day to the range. So for around town, it's solar powered.
Defo would not want to get in to an accident in one of them
Maybe, it's one of the first SERIAL solar powered cars.
And I couldn't stop laughing: The price is in US$ but the author wrote about the speed in kph. US and their struggle with metric units:
180 kph = 180 knots per hour (used in maritime cicumdations)
= 333,36 km/h (Kilometres per hour)
Really ??
Do you love to see yourself in those accidents or someone else? Just asking.
just imagine to hit it with a motocycle on the tail...
