Don't read the book if you watched the movie.
Don't watch the movie if you read the book.

My disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined.

Mort, I greatly love both. Read several times, watched many times. Imho

I think a review of the term "no one knows about them" is in order.

I would add the 1997 movie called "Titanic" to this list. Great movie that few have seen.

I loved Stardust and it is on Netflix still I believe. Very cute, family orientated movie. Prisoners I thought was kind of dull and boring. Don't get me started on The Wave. It's a complete white wash over the heroic deeds of an actual islander, not some dumb couple on vacation. The Man from Earth was unexpected good, but also a rather slow burn.

The Man From Earth (2007)

“A college professor is moving. All his professor buddies come over to say goodbye. Then, the main character drops this bombshell, impossible to believe truth on them. The rest of the film is the rest of the cast trying to figure out if he’s crazy or telling the truth. Sounds dull as hell, but it’s just so good!”
