If I remember correctly: Handbreak loose Left Pedal down (with force!): first gear Adjust gas lever on steering wheel to get more torque Left Pedal half up (pull it with tip of shoe): neutral (gas down again) Left Pedal all up: second gear. (gas up) Crank starting that thing was fun too. Broke my arm once.
Theodora, I had no idea someone that old knew how to user the internet? btw, not all countries had black & white TV, some of us only got TV after color was standard where I'm from TV only started in the late 1970's.
