#1 I wouldn't trade my surfing days for anything. Yeah, it took a toll, but man what rides! And the battles! Muay Thai and Eskrima. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

#14 It’s not too late in your thirties, unless you didn’t take care of anything, i.e., bad diet, drugs, no exercise and smoking (all 4).

Yes, regular exercise and healthy eating work a treat when aging. I always joke with my friend (who turned 40) that we are only able to drink beer nowadays (jack & coke are a thing of the past). Switching off the TV & Netflix also helps.

Spent my twenties pushing the envelope of an extreme sport. Now, in my thirties, my knees are shot, among other joint issues. I’m sure it will only get more rough from here. The thing is, I’ve heard this all before when I was younger. It doesn’t resonate until it’s real. And by then, its too late.
