#1 I wouldn't trade my surfing days for anything. Yeah, it took a toll, but man what rides! And the battles! Muay Thai and Eskrima. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

#14 It’s not too late in your thirties, unless you didn’t take care of anything, i.e., bad diet, drugs, no exercise and smoking (all 4).

Yes, regular exercise and healthy eating work a treat when aging. I always joke with my friend (who turned 40) that we are only able to drink beer nowadays (jack & coke are a thing of the past). Switching off the TV & Netflix also helps.

Get good eating habits while you’re young! You can get away with eating junk food when you’re young — but bad eating habits tend to stay with you. People are very reluctant to change their diets. And when you’re older, bad eating habits will give you high cholesterol and atherosclerosis; increasing your risk of cancer, etc.
