Quite a few from Hammersmith. I've never heard of it, though, so it might as well be Noweheresville.

Sheffield is in South Yorkshire. We changed from 'ridings' quite some time ago.

Don’t know half of them, and never thought the people I do know are American.

so many are from England because American actors can't act
they just pretend to be other people

Nap,
Maybe Nicey means that American actors no longer do that weird fake British movie accent...remember? Like Bette Davis and Joan Crawford used to talk in movies

Here's the thing ... if you are white, your ancestors came from Europe or the U.K., maybe your dad, maybe your grandma, maybe further back ... but you have European blood in your veins.
If you are black, your ancestors were kidnapped and brought over the seas in sailing ships with inhumane conditions, and when they got here they were forced, by whip, to work the land for the profit of those white ancestors.
Weird world hey ?
Please learn metric, you're starting to look stupid.

Cynthia,

As an immigration attorney in the U.S., I can attest that Black people immigrate to the U.S. from all over the world.

pretty simple reason think about the people that become actors the little wimpy kids in the teater group that mercilessly get bullied in US schools. also why so many of american actors are very short the little whimpy kids. so if you want some henthewoth level hunk you need to import from a different country.
