"EA is infamous for loot boxes. and in a hearing with the UK parliament they called them “surprise mechanics” to make it sound better. It’s essentially gambling but it slides because you’re at least guaranteed something. It’s pretty scummy"

Gus, just forbid warning labels (at least for the obvious stupid stuff like "don't put your kid in the oven" kind of things) and it will sort itself out.

Ordinary People being able to gamble their life savings away at the stock market. Seriously, if you don't exactly know what you are doing you could shove your money aswell into a casino. Same result, but with the side effect of no exessive herd gambling that creates a bubble-market (ie. 1929, 2001, 2008).

Please get me right. I am no rich person, not anywhere near rich. I dont understand why it is common nowerdays to encourage people to start gambling at the stock market. In its mass this is a destructive behaviour wich can and will lead to loss. Either you know exactly what you do or you have gambling money.

Because the US Stock Marker has returned over 10% consistently for a century. It is an excellent investment if you are not too greedy and don't see it as a get rich quick scheme. You think it should be illegal to do what you wish with your own money?
