agreed, there are people that are deathly allergic to shrimp and it's not that uncommon, they would never allow cross contamination to happen because that would be some massive fines coming for them as soon as it occurred. the other sh#t was probably just thrown in there because that's what he found in his pocket.

I once found fried maggots in the bottom of my Burger King fries. Honestly, I did. Called the manager and told him, he was appalled and asked if I would bring them in. I did, and he let me order anything I wanted for free. Took bags of burgers back to the office for everyone. I've never told anyone this in 25 years.

The company has tweeted yet another response to the incident

Jensen said that he had a whole bowl of it after realizing there was what appeared to be shrimp tails covered in cinnamon and sugar. But that wasn’t all. Lurking at the very bottom of the plastic bag were some more unwelcome surprises, like a piece of string, “weird cinnamon-covered pea thing,” and “black things.”
