A good friend of mine got wrapped up in a MLM scheme. She asked me if I wanted to work for her - I said no. She tried to pressure me. I said no again. Then a day later she tells me “I have decided that there is no opportunity available for you in my business.” - and she was totally serious. I’m like “gee, I’m heartbroken. It sounded like such a great opportunity.” I didn’t talk to her much after that - she really took it personal that I saw it as a scam.
